What to Include in the Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.

Shipping Policy

Domestic and International

Domestic Shipping (South Africa)

We offer PAXI store-to-store and store-to-door delivery, with over 2,800 locations available across South Africa (PEP, PAXI points, Shoe City, Tekkie Town, and more).

• Transit Times: 2–5 working days (main centres); 5–7 working days (regional and outlying areas) — after production lead time.

• Tracking: A tracking number is provided via email once your parcel is dispatched.

 

International Shipping

• International shipping is handled as a bespoke service. We obtain a direct courier quote based on your location, parcel weight, and dimensions.

• Shipping costs are passed to the client at cost — no additional fees or mark-ups.

• The recipient is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees in the destination country.

Returns Policy

In compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA):

• 7-Day Cooling-Off Period: For non-customised items, you may return your purchase for any reason within 7 days of receipt. Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging. Return courier costs are the buyer's responsibility.

• Exclusions: Returns are not accepted on hygiene items (hair accessories, earrings, bed linen) once packaging has been opened.

• Defective Items: All products carry an implied 6-month warranty. If an item is defective, you may choose a repair, replacement, or refund.

• Bespoke Items: Please refer to the Custom Policy above.

Custom & Personalised Items Policy

In accordance with South African law

In accordance with South African law, the 7-day cooling-off period does not apply to goods made to a consumer's specifications. As most of our products are personalised, they are considered Final Sale.

• Accuracy Responsibility: Customers are responsible for providing accurate information. Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or returned due to change of mind or incorrect information submitted by the client.

• Lead Times: Personalised items require a production lead time of 10–14 working days before dispatch.

• Seasonal Deadlines: During peak periods (Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc.), strict Order Cut-Off Dates apply. Orders placed after these dates are not guaranteed for holiday delivery.

• Bespoke Gifts: Any gifts personalised with names or custom designs for calendar dates are non-returnable unless a manufacturing defect is present.
